Centrally located in Puerto Princesa City, Althea's Place Palawan offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. What was the highlight of RedDoorz Premium @ Abueg Road Extension
A little place that was comfortable with a nice pool
We were only there for one night to catch our flight the next morning. We liked the room option of having multiple beds in one room and the pool was really nice. They also had a lot of places to sit and hang out inside of the resort. They were also really helpful when arranging transportation and recommending places to go and eat. The airport pick up and drop off was also extremely convenient.
The food was definitely sub par. We ordered a chicken salad sandwich and a ham and cheese sandwich and we had a difficult time figuring out whose was whose, plus the meat on the sandwiches were like jerky. The breakfast was also not very good and there was no choice of what you were offered. The location was far away from many popular spots and I wouldn't recommend walking around at night, so take a tricycle if you do need to go anywhere at night.

The worst hotel and service in my life
Airport drop,...
The hotel was not easy to find because on google map is showing a wrong location, then even the number phone was not working properly, is take us almost 1hour to find the hotel, when we complain to the staff the only things she was able to say the lady I m sorry Sir but I m new here... The lady and the entire staff at front desk they was a little bit rude I complained to her that behind the bad is dirty and I find verms what she replied to me..: ok sir with attitude like is totally normal to have verms behind your bed... The hotel look very nice but the rooms and the facility are very old... and not well maintained, the beds are not at all comfortable very thin and soft mattress

Big comfortable bed, pretty looking house, ok pool, hot water, wifi, felt safe and secure. Not too far from town with a tricycle. Free airport pickup.
Restaurant was closed when we were there, staff helpful but not enthusiastic. Breakfast was not plenty. Wifi didn't work inside our room, had to sit on balkony.

Sweetest staff & large clean rooms
The staff was sooooo friendly. We stayed here at the end of our trip and the people at Althea made our memory of Palawan even better. They helped us arranging trips and transportation and were always happy to answer our questions. The rooms are very large and comfortable, as well as very clean. Breakfast is served up until 8:30am, which was a bit early for us, but it was very good. Would definitely recommend this place!
